Matagorda Beaches are beautiful and, with over 20 miles of beach open to vehicle traffic, they are open to loads of good times. Overnight camping is welcomed. A beach permit is required to drive a vehicle on the beach and glass containers are not permitted. The fee is $10.00 annually and can be purchased at the beach entrance or from Stanley’s General Stores. Permit fees are used for beach maintenance.
